Access Forbidden message after install

After getting the "Your Kaltura Server is up and Running" page, I get the "Access Forbidden" error 403 message if i try to go to the KMC or server status page.

any ideas would be helpful.

I'm running XAMMP on a Dell server

* Apache/2.2.14 (Win32) DAV/2 mod_ssl/2.2.14 OpenSSL/0.9.8l mod_autoindex_color
PHP/5.3.1 mod_apreq2-20090110/2.7.1 mod_perl/2.0.4 Perl/v5.10.1
* MySQL client version: 5.1.41
* PHP extension: mysqli

I also noticed that there were no tables created in mysql? should there be some created at this point?
