hi,

I need to add users to kalturaCE. When I access http://hostname/folder/api/adduser

I get this error,
1251497750UNKNOWN_PARTNER_IDUnknown partner_id []1d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e00.00634407997131350.0065910816192627

How do i add users?

You could do it manually via the TestMe Console, or via the Administration Interface...

the api test console takes me to the KMC . DO you mean Administration interface as KMC?

It seems users can not be added using KMC and we have to use the adduser under http://host/api/adduser

Also when I see the document at http://corp.kaltura.com/wiki/index.php/User_Management , it talks about partner ID and my current issue is also related to it.

I am using kalturaCE, do i need to apply for the partner ID?

I have question related this topic as well. I am a newbie here so any help or suggestion will be appreciated. Currently, my Kaltura CE is running on the Linux box. And using Java Client, I am able to add a new user ('KUSER' database table) however the client does not expose any mothod to set a password ("KUSER. SHA1_PASSWORD). So, my question is, how do we go about creating a new user with password? Do the user management funtionlities available in CE?
