Installed the wordpress plugin without a hitch and I'm extremely impressed, just got a couple of questions.

How do you align to center? [kaltura-widget wid="q2wds952ii" size="large" align="l" /] Logically I would imagine changing align="l" to align="c" but this is not the case, also using the "align to center" button doesn't work? Any ideas... The video can be found here http://www.reeldesign.co.za/2008/08/15/ ... -oktapodi/

How do you go about skinning the skinable interactive player? Seen here http://corp.kaltura.com/technology/video_player

Is it possible to have the video larger or diff dimensions?

Okay thats it for now, any info will be greatly appreciated

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your questions - here's a stab at some answers:

- Aligning to center - this is not possible at the moment, but it's already on the feature list for the next version of the plugin - so hopefully within the next few weeks you'll be able to align things in the center.

- Skins - this is currently something that is done internally at Kaltura as a customization (i.e. we charge for it), HOWEVER soon we will have our new CMS ready and there you will have the option to customize the player and its look & feel on your own.

- Size - you have 2 sizes that you can choose from when you create the player. More flexibility will be available when we launch the new CMS.

Hope that helps. Keep up the feedback, it is the main source of our upgrades and new features.

Cheers,
Lisa

Perfect, thanks for the quick response. The align to center is kind of a huge thang for me so I cant wait for you guys to implement this.
Any idea of a release date for the next update?

UIS1 and UIS2 are both levels of skin languages and both have their own pros and ... Simply change the Horizontal alignment to center to change the text position. ... masks must have the exact same dimensions as the original image used. ...

Hopefully the next version will be released within the next 2 weeks or so. We're gathering feedback and suggestions to incorporate into the next version, so this kind of discussion is critical for us to improve the plugin. Thanks again

If you want to align to center change the align="l" to align="m" and watch the magic happen :)

If you need to style, surround the player in a DIV that you add to the style sheet. WP Post Style is quiet handy for this... hope that helps anyone else
