Hello,
Kaltura is good and even better because its open souce!

I have installed the 'BuddyPress Media Component with KalturaCE Support' by rtCamp, et al. When I'm done settings - the partner ID and server (which pointed to http://www.kaltura.com) it says installation complete but when i test it on site it gives errors.
The error says "Add entry call failed". It shows when I'm uploading videos or pictures the moment i click finish. When I log on to Kaltura Management Console everything is fine. I also notice that I can't find anything on flirkr and photobucket.

When i light my firebug on Net tab it gives this detail:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?><xml><result><serverTime>1309360817</serverTime></result><error><num_0><code>INVALID_KSHOW_ID</code><desc>Unknown kshow [-1]</desc></num_0></error><debug><sigtype>1</sigtype><validateSignature>1</validateSignature><signature>33ed9b4--i hide the remaining--</signature><execute_impl_time>0.0091228485107422</execute_impl_time><execute_time>0.031198024749756</execute_time><total_time>0.031408071517944</total_time></debug></xml>

response when i search on photobucket:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?><xml><result><serverTime>1309361079</serverTime></result><error><num_0><code>SERVICE_FORBIDDEN</code><desc>The access to service [searchAction] is forbidden</desc></num_0></error><debug><sigtype>1</sigtype><validateSignature>1</validateSignature><signature>08ea3adf0a75be6bf8--i hide the remaining--</signature><execute_impl_time>0</execute_impl_time><execute_time>0.015430927276611</execute_time><total_time>0.015686988830566</total_time></debug></xml>

other details

WordPress 3.1.2
BuddyPress 1.2.8
BuddyPress Media Component with KalturaCE Support 1.2.5.1
Linux server PHP 5.2.9

I would be happy for any ideas replied

Hi psi_gamma3,
couple of questions:
1. Are you working against SaaS or CE?
2. What is your CE version?
3. Can you send me an image with the error or Fiddler / FireBug report so i can see the exact calls you make.

Any way if you are using CE, i would try to go to CE admin console, and then to the configure tab on the partner that you want to use on your BuddyPress and enable his PS2 permissions.
