Bug - "Remember Me" feature never works

For some reason the "Remember Me" feature on the KMC never seems to work.

I'm using Firefox 3.0.11 on a Mac OS X 10.5.7.

Any idea why?

Sort of... If I log in, and then close the browser and re-open it, when I go to the KMC page it automatically logs in for me. This is great. It keeps the session active for about 9 hours which is perfect.

However - I was originally under the impression that by pressing "Remember Me" it would remember my username and password so that whenever I am prompted with the login screen, the details are all ready filled out (like the "saved passwords" feature on Firefox). It obviously doesn't do this - but it would be great if it could!
