Can I use partner service 3 with KSE?

I installed the new community version of Kaltura. Also I compiled the simple editor in Flex project, when I tried to replace the one on CE server with the one that I compiled. It failed.
Also I notice that in the new CE server, the testme console is using partner service 3. But my KSE project is still using partner service 2.
Can I use partner service 3 with KSE project in svn? How can I change it to use partner service 3?

I am stuck. Please help, thanks.

Hi,
The simple editor works great with ps2, however sooner or later it will be migrate to PS3 which is the new SDK we released lately,
It won't take long for a brilliant flex developer to come and use the new Kaltura Flex Client and change the code of the simple editor to use PS3, can you be that brilliant developer? only you know!

That's a brilliant answer. BTW, I am working to be a brilliant developer. I am humble for now.
If I figure out how to switch to pS3, can commit it to the source, so other people can save their time. That's the point of open source, right? Or maybe some other brilliant developer has already done that, but kept secret:)

I doubt anyone has already done it unfortunately...

Up until the latest release of Kaltura CE there wasn't really any public documentation on the new API.

If you do end up updating KSE, then YES - you are MORE than welcome to share it with everyone here! As you said, that's the whole point of Open Source!

Happy developing!

Best Regards, Chris!
