Hi -
I am trying to install Kaltura CE on Amazon AWS EC2 following the instructions here:
http://www.kaltura.org/kaltura-ce-v30-amazon-ec2-guide
http://blog.kaltura.org/tag/amazon-ec2
It says to use one of the following AMIs (Amazon Machine Instance):
ami-d8ad53b1 - This is Kaltura CE 3.0 running on 32-bit Ubuntu 10.4 LTS
ami-9cad53f5 - This is Kaltura CE 3.0 running on 64-bit Ubuntu 10.4 LTS
But when try to I launch an EC2 instance in the AWS Management Console, I can't find either of these AMIs in the list.
Can I find one of these AMIs for Kaltura somewhere else?
Or is there some other AMI I could use? Or can I create the AMI needed?
I'm just starting out with Kaltura and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong here.
Thanks for any help.
Yes, I had also done a search for Kaltura on the AWS Console, and I also noticed those AMI images for Kaltura 4.0, involving CentOS.
I was unsure if I should use them, since was not able to find any mention of these newer images on anywhere on kaltura.org
Google search
site:kaltura.org AMI images

But generally I do prefer using the latest version of anything, so I will go ahead and try using the AMI images for Kaltura 4.0.
I just did a search for "Kaltura" in the AWS console, and it appears that only the 4.0 images are currently available.
