Can't install MediaWiki video extension

Hello,

I'd like to use Kaltura to display video (and allow others to submit video) in my MediaWiki.

I have just installed MediaWiki onto my site (version 1.15.0), and am now trying to install Kaltura MediaWiki extensions .

I have downloaded the "Video-Wiki Extension" from the Kaltrua website, unpacked the tar file (on my local computer), and then FTPed the files (and directories) to my web server. Per the instructions I have updated my LocalSettings.php file. (added "require_once( "$IP/extensions/kaltura_wiki_ext/kaltura_extension.php" );"
Now when I start my Wiki, I get the following error:

I'm guessing, but is this related to the fact that I unpacked the tar file on my local computer and then uploaded it to my hosting account? I don't have shell access, so can only upload via FTP.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Sean,

Thanks for posting it. Unfortunately, the extension was not tested on MediaWiki version 1.15, and I guess that's causing the problems. We are developing a new extension, that will be integrated in Wikipedia and will be available for other MediaWiki users as well. You are welcome to read more about it in this link:

Hi Sean,

As Ido mentioned, the current mediaWiki extension development was halted in favor of the new extension.

If you'd like to use the old version, it is only supported with MediaWiki version 1.10.
