hey
might be a stupid question, but id thought id ask it anyway.
i decided to use kaltura as an alternative for youtube.
i have downloaded some videos directly off youtube (from official channels) and i uploaded them into kaltura. so i obtained them in a legal way and i basically host only things that are widely available on youtube.
since im not letting anyone download these videos, is it legal to host them on your server or no?
i mean its confusing, because i dont want to break any laws or anything, but it changes so often that its hard to keep up, like for example once youtube banned the music tracks in videos, and now it just displays a link to itunes.
what is your policy on that?
When you upload content to Kaltura, under the default license, it becomes part of the Kaltura media network, and accesible to anybody using Kaltura.
