What is exactly the "Any URL" option for uploading video or photos files?

There's a difference in this feature between videos and photos. For video you need to insert the direct URL to the video itself. For photos it just scans a page and returns all of the images that appear in it.

We need to have 1 or 2 additional meta-data fields (other than "Title" & "Tags"). How can we add them?

At the moment the Contribution Wizard does not support additional metadata fields, however –

1. We're planning on releasing an additional version for the Contribution Wizard with this configurable in the future. We already realized this is required.
2. You can retrieve additional metadata about the media after the uploader closes and attach the metadata to the entry on Kaltura using API.
