Conversions stuck in queue

After the install, I was able to upload a video and have it play back on my wordpress site fine. Since the first uploaded video, all subsequent videos I have uploaded have been sitting in the "newBatchConvertClient" process queue. I have tried to restart the queue with no change. This is what is in the newBatchConvertClient.log

Aight, I never heard from anyone, but I gave up on Windows for the time being.
It took me two days because of my lack of LInux experience, but I am up and running. Videos are being converted and I am pleased.

Yes, it would be nice. I wish I could contribute more around here, but I have about 1 week experience with Kaltura, so I can't help much. If you want here is a rough-outline of what I did if you want to try it.
Downloaded Ubuntu 9.04 Desktop edition, burn to CD, install to a server with 1, 1TB hard drive. Install was very easy.
Got Ubuntu completely up-to-date
Download xampp-linux-1.7.1.tar.gz, kalturaCE_v1.5_linux386.tgz
Extracted those files to the desktop.
Using the command line as sudo, copied them to /opt. It looked like this when I had moved lampp then kaltura:
/opt/lampp/htdocs/kalturaCE. I just googled how to do this and it was easy. Copy and paste did not work because of permissions. I had to move the files using command line.
If you just google, install xampp on ubuntu, you'll find good guides. So, don't stress about that.
Started xampp using the command prompt /opt/lampp/lampp start... mysql did not start. It turned out to be file permissions.... chmod -R 777 on /opt/lampp/mysql IIRC (this was yesterday, sorry). Got all lampp services running after getting permissions correct. I googled how to have lampp start automatically and found an easy way to do it on the ubuntu forums. I haven't rebooted the box yet, so I don't know if it worked :)
The rest, you should be good with if you got xampp, phpmyadmin, kaltura, all that stuff working on your Windows box. You'll have some file permissions to fix, but the installer tells you a script to run that fixes all of that.

Seems like you might have a zomby process or something like this.
in kalturaCE/batchwatch you should find a file with a name like newBatchConvertClient.#####
if you find such file, it indicates that you have a running process of the batch client or the process is not running but the indicator file is still there which might prevent new instances of the batch to start.
try to delete this file, and if you can't it is probably is use by the process - so you'll have to locate the process and kill it before trying to start the batch again.
We didn't test CE with Server2003, we will try to add windows 2003 testing in future releases.

I have deleted the newBatchConvertClient.##### files and it seems to be converting again. The file that was trying to be converted was an mp3. Should an mp3 be getting converted? If so, why would an mp3 need to be converted to flash? Is there a way to exclude mp3's from being converted?

Is there anybody out there? JK, should I give up on Windows and try Linux?
I can upload pics fine (haven't tried the other features). Videos are just sitting in the que. 0 in process at the moment.
