Duplicate Videos being added to KMC & CMS (Drupal)

I'm not too sure if this is a drupal related issue, or standard functionality across the board, but how would one prevent both Video and Video Remix from being created? The reason is because in Drupal now for every node that is created with a cck field, a Kaltura Media Node is created. As well, when I log into the KMC two video files are added "Video" and "Video Remix". I only want one file and one node being created. How could this be accomplished? Has anyone else experienced this problem? What is the purpose of creating a duplicate of the file that is being uploaded?
