Peace!

Hi, I've installed KalturaCE on

Ubuntu 8.04.1
PHP Version 5.2.4-2ubuntu5.6
php5-cli
memcache
mysql 5.0.51a-3ubuntu5.1-log
libcurl3 7.18.0-1ubuntu2

I have the crossdomain.xml at var/www (which is my http root)

Still I always get
Error Message: Array ( [0] => failed to serialize server result )

Apache Directives

Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews
AllowOverride All
Order allow,deny
allow from all

So what would seem to be the problem here? Please help

Sincerely,

Andrew John P. Young

Hi Andrew,

Could you specify, where do you get this error ? (is it on installation, gallery demo, client...)

During Installation.... right after populating the DB.

Oh and because of this error we get that "Default partner with ID "1" was not found!" error when accessing the Gallery (Player Gallery, Playlist Gallery, etc...)

Any ideas what's wrong here?

Andrew,

It seems that you are having a problem registering the partner to finish the registration.
Can you try removing it completely and trying to install from scratch with a new email address.

There will be a new version of CE released shortly, I suggest to wait and try the new one version when it's out.

Peace!

Kalturian, pardon me for contradicting, but I don't think the registration to the partners was the problem since I did receive an email from the site concerning my registration. Each time I installed, the Register to Kaltura.org was checked and each time it sent a registration email confirmation to my andrewjohnyoung@gmail.com address.

I could be wrong but is that the registration process you were referring to?

Will be eagerly awaiting the new release :)

Hi Andrew.

Was the problem fixed using the new release ?
