I fill out the info on the first pop up window for Video Title, description, size and alignment. I then click Next. It goes to the next screen but it is blank and just remains blank and cursor just spins. Never brings up the page to upload videos. Any thoughts???

Hi Lisa,

Can you give us a link to the page?

URL is http://www.bitstoatoms.org/project7/index.php/Main_Page

Page is protected so you will need to log in with the following info:

user is project7
password is star3Struck

Now I am not even getting the pop up window. I click on Special Pages, then click on Add Video and I end up at Video page. I click on Add Video on that page and nothing happens...

Thanks for taking a look!

Hi,

When I enter an edit page I can't see the add Kaltura button...

Did you follow the installation process? was all going well?

It said it installed successfully. I'll delete it from the server and try a reinstall and see if that does anything!

OK I reinstalled. It said it installed successfully. Showed me the page of tests with the video at the bottom. Still nothing when you go to edit a page and when I click on Add Video on Special Pages it does the same thing as before. Loads the first page, let's me fill it in, I click Next and the cursor spins and the next page does not load.

I even went back to the default mediawiki theme in case it was a compatibility issue. You can see the Add Video link in the toolbox in the menu at the left down at the bottom. I am baffled...still not there when you click to edit a page though...any thoughts?

For some reason the button doesn't show, but the script is on the page.
I used firebug console on firefox to call the "createNewVideo ();" function on an edit page and the Kaltura contribution window loaded.
However, when clicked next, I got a HTTP Error 500 - Internal server error and the window failed to continue... Can you watch the apache error log and see what might cause this error?

How do I find the log? I presume it's on my server somewhere?? Also take a look at another wiki on the same site that I just reinstalled. Here is the test page it gave me

http://www.bitstoatoms.org/project11/index.php?title=Special:KalturaTest...

You can see at the bottom the video player is there, I tried adding to it and was able to go through the whole process but it didn't add anything to the video.

Thanks, I appreciate all your help!

Lisa,

The screenshot you attached is very limited and does not contain errors related to Kaltura... or wiki page.

That was the entire log. The only thing I deleted was the ip and log in info

Should I delete the video upload it again and send you the info to see what you get when you install? I really need to get this working ASAP. Thanks...

OK had my brother look into this for me. Attached is the error we got when he tried to access the second page to upload the Video after completing filling in the Video Title and description. Can you point us in a direction to fix this??
