getkshow and multirequest

I downloaded the KSE flex project, it seems after getuiconf service, it is trying to call getkshow if kshow_id is -1. But when the simpleeditor.swf which comes with CE version is calling mulitirequest service after getuiconf service. I can't figure out where multirequest service is triggered inside the flex source codes.
Can anyone help to explain? Thanks.
