ie8 don't show thumbnails of a kaltura-item view

Hi,
I think the module needs some rework.. FIrst of all the missing .jpg extensions of the thumbs make sometimes problems ( for example print module)
In IE8 thumbs are not shown from a view.

Any thoughts?
