import all kaltura into drupal, but only one did

after installing the kaltura module in drupal i tried to import all kaltura media as nodes, but only one (of about 2000) entries came across, anyone have any idea why and how to fix it?

hi,
i used the url specified in the docs for one time import:
Existing content – When a partner already has content on the KMC, and then wants to transfer it to Drupal, he would have to use Kaltura’s Drupal import function which is built in the module. In order to activate it, partner should go to http://www.partner_domain.com/?q=admin/settings/kaltura/import , and use the import tool available at this page.
i tried again, but it reports "no entries need to be imported"
to summarise my steps:
- upload 2000 items to kaltura
- install kaltura module on existing drupal6 site
- attempt import, get only ONE item
- sync is working as items NEW to kaltura are coming across to drupal

created a new drupal & kaltura module install and tested again;
only the one same item was imported by http://www.mysite.foo/?q=admin/settings/kaltura/import
(not even any of the demo items that are there to demo the system)
the only item "tester" found seems also to be the only one with creator _30329_1 (partner ID = 30329) all other items have nothing or "anonymous"
it seems:
anonymous = from the wordpress plugin
nothing = uploaded at KMC
not sure how this one item got a creator, none of the other items have anything meaningfull
(also oddly, items were getting transfered from kaltura to drupal even though I HADN'T ticked "enable server side notifications")
