Is it possible to import an MP4 w/o transcoding it?

I'm pretty sure the KDP will only play FLV files (someone correct me if I'm wrong). If that's the case, and you wanted to retain your MP4, I think you would have to have your content management system, or whatever you're using to interface with Kaltura, to save a copy of the MP4 locally before it sent it along to be transcoded by Kaltura, and then provide a "download original" link under the player. Not sure if that's the behavior your going for though..

Chris is correct - the KDP can only play formats that Flash supports natively.

Hi All,
is this still true with 3.0 CE? So if someone has a large library of content that has already been encoded for adaptive streaming (High, Med, small), there is no migration path for existing mp4 files? We need to re-encode?
Because in the upload csv area, I just see a field for transcoding Profile ID and not individual flavors...

thanks!

Yes, this feature was not implemented yet.
