install to a public_html folder?

Hello - This is Karl from the OSCON show I was working the Joomla booth and meet Zohar there . I was working on a KalturaCE_1.5_Beta install on my server got to the last part and maybe missing something. Is this possible to install in a another directory of your public_html folder on a web server to be used on a sub directory with a joomla warper be loaded within a joomla site - the way you would extend joomla using a forum like phpbb ? Also is this same setup as Joomla with just needing a mysql database or does this need to be loaded on the root part on a Linux install ? First i have to get a kaltura site working could not install - got to the last part and would not install ( Is this possible to install in a another directory of your public_html folder /joomla/kaltura or does this have to install on the server part of linux ?

Hi Karl,
Welcome! nice to see you here.
I see that your implementation of phpbb is just an iframe loading a phpbb site...
You could do that, but a better implementation would be like the Kaltura Drupal Module - creating a Joomla extension that will integrate with the Kaltura Server and provide all the capabilities as part of the Joomla core.
