Hi,

I have completed the installation process but I obtain this message:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Local Registration failed

I attach my kaltura_install.log : inside this file I notice the row

[2010-01-04 18:51:46] failed to replace in uiconf files

but I don't understand how I can fix this issue.

Many thanks,
Marco Balcon

I'm trying install kalturaCE in both Ubuntu 9.10 x86_64 and Debian 5.0 i686, but in the last step of install process (local registration) I have an error message with no code.

enable short tags, mod_rewrite, directory permissions.

(check server config. make sure it lines up with kaltura's installation guide)

Hi, Jeff!

Thanks for your help, but all this stuffs are ok, and the installation is still broked. I watched the kaltura_install.log, but it doesn't explain nothing.

I also tried install it in a debian 5.03 VM and XAMPP 1.7.1, but it didn't worked.

I will try another combination of packages and report to you, guys.

Nice weekend!

I had the same problem with an empty error message. Didn't have any failures in the install log though.

Installing PEAR for php solved my issue. (I'm not using xampp)

I'm using opensuse and at the begining I had the same problem. I uninstall xampp 1.7.3 and install xampp 1.7.1 and it works perfectly...
