Installing Kaltura CE on Dreamhost (ffmpeg issue)

I have a domain hosted by dreamhost (shared hosting) that I am trying to get Kaltura CE installed on. When I start the install it can't seem to find ffmpeg and gives the following error:

"Could not run FFMPEG. FFMPEG is crucial for converting media to FlashVideo format. "

I tried googling around for some good instructions for installing ffmpeg on a shared host dreamhost domain and I haven't been able to get anywhere.

I would really appreciate any advice that could be given.

It could be your folder permissions? (KalturaCE comes with ffmpeg pre-built) So, it might be that it can't locate it because of that...?

Thanks for the response!

It's looking for ffmpeg in this dir: /kaltura/bin/ffmpeg/ffmpeg.

The file is there and I gave the ffmpeg directory 777 permissions just in case.

It still says that it can't run ffmpeg. Any other ideas?

I would at least recommend a VPS. I don't think Kaltura CE would run on a shared server, there are too many limitations and no access to a Secure Shell.
