I presume you're trying to "fetch" this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QDe6MZQjpho

The YouTube location it's using doesn't seem to work:

http://www.youtube.com/get_video?video_id=QDe6MZQjpho&t=vjVQa1PpcFMEMyUQJwf8S_C_6QEmB4OC1AdcSYTmuv4%3D&fmt=18%2F512000%2F9%2F0%2F115%2C34%2F0%2F9%2F0%2F115%2C5%2F0%2F7%2F0%2F0

It should actually be something like this:

http://v9.lscache1.c.youtube.com/videoplayback?ip=0.0.0.0&sparams=id%2Cexpire%2Cip%2Cipbits%2Citag%2Cburst%2Cfactor&itag=5&ipbits=0&signature=2A4917D9A0240A02CF13D78A902506F390554CB5.5568C6B367AA2214289615405EEC0E5CBA423455&sver=3&expire=1251277200&key=yt1&factor=1.25&burst=40&id=4037ba319423a61a

I'd say that Kaltura CE is using an old method to "rip" content from YouTube, which has since been disabled by Google. The fact that Kaltura no longer supports YouTube ripping on it's "self serve" packages leads me to think that they are no longer updating the code for this particular functionality.

If you really need this to work, I'd have a dig through the code and see if you can update it based on these example URLs...

Good luck!

Thanks for the information...

You are right, method used in the
"kalturaCE/kaltura/alpha/apps/kaltura/modules/extservices/actions/youtubeRedirectAction.class.php"
is obsolete already.

I solved my problem temporarily by "grabbing" youtube media with external tool and pushing it to kaltura with simple python script.
