Kaltura CE for Wordpress All in One Video Plugin

I am curious to know if I can run the CE version and still use the Wordpress plugin?
Are there any problems known with this set up?

Unfortunately, I see several places where the author hard-coded the Kaltura SaaS version into the plugin.
Here are the main locations. I'm not sure how hard it would be to make this work for the CE. One issue
is that there is no CDN, out of the box, with CE:

Hi,
Changing the KALTURA_SERVER URL and KALTURA_CDN_URL does the trick... just point them both to your domain if you are not using a seperate CDN.
Works like a charm on my installation.

I have tried changing all of the relative links to my test server kaltura.realtyweb.net However when I goto create a new user it seems to still be trying to create a free account on kaltura.com.

I've attached a zip of the very latest stable copy for your use (change file extension back to ZIP to install)
PLEASE remember to edit the "settings.php" file and set KALTURA_SERVER_URL and KALTURA_CDN_URL to be either kaltura.com or your CE server url BEFORE configuration for proper function.
The plugin combines features of All In One with several new shortcodes (documentation available on kalturacehost.com)

Dude are we supposed to pay you for your plugin? or is it for free?
Because we want to use Kaltura CE because of its freeness.
I actually went to your site and all I could figure out was that you your giving a fair deal! how fair is it because Kaltura CE is for free. Are you going to pay us to use your plugin?
one more thing. If we want to use your plugin should we have Kaltura up and running.
Furthermore, is it me or is there anybody else who doesn't get how to install this software (Kaltura CE)? and why there is no manual for it out there?

No manual because Kaltura CE is (a) hell to install/build and (b) if it were easy Kaltura.com wouldn't be as profitable. For these reasons, the community doesn't have the time or the willingness to contribute.

Hey brother. The plugin is absolutely free as is KalturaCE. I ask for no money even though I assure you I've spent a great deal of time on it. I'm assuming when you say that you've "been to my site and I'm offering a great deal" that you are speaking to the x7Host site. Please understand that x7Host only sponsors the plugin. The plugin is still able to work with both kaltura.com and kalturace. To use the plugin you must have either a kaltura.com account or your own kalturace server. I'm not sure what you mean by guides for the program, because on this vey site there are a plethora of guides for the software, including very detailed installation instructions.
Just to be clear: x7Host offers expert KalturaCE hosting for individuals that can't or don't want to install and configure kalturace by themselves. their rates are extremely competitive. Just look at what renting a server costs these days!

Can we retrieve the thumbnails using All in One Video and KalturaCE? I believe the path for the thumbnails is cdnbakmi.kaltura.com, however MellowK said the KalturaCE doesn't have cdn out of the box.

I've just installed the KalturaCE 3.0 and installed the All-in-one-plugin in WordPress - and can't figure out how I can connect the plugin to the local KalturaCE-installation. Please help someone? Pretty please...
