Hi guys,

I'm excited to announce the first ever Kaltura Developer Meetup!

This will be the starting point of a developers group interested in Open Video and Kaltura. We hope the group will be a place for developers to connect, discuss news about open source video and the interactive world, and learn and share cool techniques and ideas.

The meeting format: agenda will include 3 short talks, 5 minutes each (followed by 6 minutes of questions) followed by a 30 minute technical session.

Agenda

Talks:

  • Shay David, Kaltura VP of Business and Communty Development, who will share some of the Kaltura roadmap and exciting news about the upcoming set of solutions in Kaltura's next version.
  • Open Video in Education by Leah Belsky who leads the education team at Kaltura.
  • The Open Video Alliance, activities and events to come, presented by Ben Moskowitz from the Alliance.

Technical Session:
We will look at utilizing Kaltura for boosting online experiences -
We'll discuss various solutions for online video and how it is possible to easily extend and customize to bring life to common web experiences.
Beware! This session will be code heavy; goggles are suggested to protect from all the bits that will be thrown around!
