Now CentOS 6 is out, has anyone tried deploying Kaltura V4 CE on it? I'm rebuilding our V1 server completely on Thursday and debating which ISO to leave downloading on Wednesday evening, v6 would be preferable in my eyes but if it's not judged stable I'd best go for 5.6

I just managed to install it on CentOS 6 after days of pain. I am not very experienced with Linux, in particular with CentOS which is a bit less user friendly as compared to Ubuntu.

But I did it and I am glad. I'd be glad to share my experiences.

Arafat - thanks for replying. What was/were the hard bit/s? Getting the basic apahe/php/mysql is straightfoward from what I'm reading. I think I'll be doing a trial run on a virtual machine first.
