How do I add videos to my site?
- In the Joomla admin panel, under the article editor, you will see an “Add Video” button. This will launch the Add Video flow in a lightbox.

- Step 1: Player options
- Video Type: either add a single non-editable video or create an editable mix from a sequence of videos and images.
- Aspect Ratio and Size: choose normal or widescreen – this will affect the available pre-defined sizes or enter a custom width for your player.
- Step 2: Select Content
- Follow the steps in the Uploader wizard to browse your desktop, record from webcam or import media from another source.
- Step 3: Preview
- Enter video title (will be inserted into the HTML)
- Select player skin and choose if you want to add a “Share” button for syndication of content.

How do I edit my videos?
- Login to your Joomla site. Under all videos posted by you, you’ll see an html link: “Edit video”. This will launch the Kaltura Standard Video Editor in a lightbox. Learn more about the editor capabilities here.
- Once you save your changes and close the Editor, refresh the page and view your edited video.

How do I login to the KMC?
When you sign up with Kaltura (from the Joomla admin panel > Components > Kaltura Video) you will receive a confirmation email with login credentials to your Kaltura Management Console.
How do I embed playlists?
- Create a manual or rule-based playlist in your KMC (see how in the Quick Start Guide within the KMC).
- In the Joomla admin panel, go to: Components > Kaltura Video. Here you will see a list of all playlists you have created in the KMC. Click “Preview and Embed” next to the playlist that you would like to publish. A window will open allowing you to select a playlist template and copy the embed code.
- In the article editor, paste the code in HTML mode. Toggle the editor to WYSIWYG mode and you will see your playlist in the editor.
