I've been tying to set up KalturaCe 2.0 on ubuntu - I followed the settings for ubuntu 10.4 and think everythings ok except setting the etl system user which for some reason I haven't managed to do yet. (so maybe that's whats causing some errors)
anyway when I run the install.php I'm getting 2 errors:
1 -

If anyone knows what might be the cause of this I would greatly appreciate it. I normally work on mac and still getting to grips with ubuntu so I apologize for the novice posting.
Thanks a lot liebesprinz,
that really helped - I was able to run the installation perfectly after that.
Hi James,
Can you please describe the installation process you've gone through including reading the installation docs?
Can you please also share how you plan on using Kaltura?
Thanks!

Hi jtribe,
you have to install KalturaCE via an admin console (command line: "php install.php") and not(!) via pointing to a weblink (e.g. http://www. yourdomain.com/install.php).
