Player is display but video is not playing

Hi,
In backend, I have no problem !
I upload video without ploblem, create a new thumb, insert into article.
But in front end, player is there but when I click on play nothing happens!
Same for widget, nothing appear!

Wordpress Version 2.9.1

Thanks to reply :-)
I try to load a picture as well, but nothing display! Was a jpg format.
Videos are AVI format the one from my camera!
In blog, I use shadow box to show my photos.

Same issue happened here with a custom WordPress theme, player would appear but clicking play didn't do anything. When a video was uploaded as "allow users to remix," there were no "edit" or "upload" buttons. WordPress 2.9.1.
I fixed this by switching back to the WordPress default theme. Some themes appear to cause the player not to work properly.

And of course you have the option (actually, you are more than invited to do so!) to tweak the code and make the player compatible to the theme you are using. I'm sure the community will appreciate such a contribution!
