PlaylistVO doesn't have an adminTags field?

In making some modifications to the Playlist module, I'm noticing, rather surprisingly, PlaylistVO doesn't have an adminTags field.
Why not?
How do I get the adminTags from a playlist programmatically? You can certainly edit them in the KMC.
