Select different conversion parameters for different file types

Is it possible to select different conversion parameters for different video files with kalturaCE?
For example, use a h264/mp3 codec for non-flv files, and just use 'ffmpeg copy' for flv files?

The reason why I want to do this is that I have a system which provides urls for me to download flv files, but the headers of the retrieved files are incorrect.
Therefore I am thinking whether I can use a different set of params to fix these files.

Resolve the issue by implementing a proxy service to fetch and pre-convert the file using customized FFMpeg parameters.

Case closed.

Hi,

Could you advice on why my uploaded .wmv file is not being converted. When I upload the file in the KMC, the 'Please Wait' dialog box remains open forever. Then once I refresh the page, I can see the file in the "Entries" tab, but the file has a duration of 0:00:00.

I am running XAMPP on windows server 2003. Any thoughts?
