Server base URL wrong in a certain situation

I have created a new mix and appended a couple videos to it using the Test Console.
The individual videos are viewable from the management console's Entries section and they work fine.
When I open the mix I created I can't watch it. Safari browser says that "5 errors occurred in opening the page" when I click open the mix entry. And when I click play on the player it reports more errors.
Looking in Safari's Activity window it shows me that the url on some objects is missing one character:

So instead of z123.notrealdomain.net there is z12.notrealdomain.net on some entries. Everything else seems to be working fine and I can't find any place where I have entered the url wrong.
I just did a clean install and still get the same problem.
