Can the remix support split screen functionality?

1) take two different videos as input
2) render them together in a split screen fashion (after specifying start points, crop zone, length for each)

When a user goes to create a remix, a default movie loads in with video clips and images already in the clips library as well as audio clips under the soundtrack tab.
