What I want to do is using the edited videos (roughtcuts) as video sources. Is there anyway I can do that?
I tried to add a roughcut entry to a rouchcut or a kshow but it didn't work for me.

just to make sure I understand your question - you want to see roughcuts in your media library and be able remix them as a whole clip.
if that's what you meant then no it is not possible at the moment. You can however turn the roughcut (which is really an edit decision list XML) into a real video and then upload it to the clip library. You can turn the roughcut into a video using the 'addDownload' API call or if you're using the community edition using the flattening server.
