Unable to view video with embedded widget

I successfully uploaded my video, created my player, copied the code and pasted the HTML onto my site. The player displays, but it is opaque and the controls do not work. I tried it in IE and Firefox with the same results. What did I do wrong?

Does it play fine in the KMC?

Can you post the embed code here so that we can have a look?

The video plays fine in the console and the spam filter will not allow me to post code. I used the "code" and"blockcode" tags, but the system will not let me submit the post. What am I doing wrong now?

Something is wrong with your local machine. It plays fine on my machine, so there is nothing wrong with the code.

Do other Flash players work on your machine (i.e. YouTube)?

Have you got the latest Flash Player installed?

What version of Windows are you running?

What version of Internet Explorer?

What version of Firefox?

Well that's very strange!

Do the example videos on the Kaltura Corporate site play OK?

The video plays fine on KMC. When I click on the player in Firefox there is a message on the task bar that states it is transferring data from Kaltura, but its been five minutes already (it is a 16 second "test" clip!) and is not working. In IE there is no task bar message or other indicator that it is transferring data or anything. Help!!

If it plays fine in the KMC, then where is it not playing properly? Does the embed code work?

When I load the page in IE and FF the player displays but is opaque and the controls do not work. I assume there is something in my code for the page that is causing this and I can't see it. I have attached a document with the code for the page. Any help you or anyone else could provide would be greatly appreciated.

I have also tried your code in IE8 and FF3.0 on Vista. Did you tried it on your comupter or on a webspace somewhere? Propbably when trying this locally your browser will not accept somehow.

Stefan's probably right... There's probably some Flash security thing preventing things from working if you try and view the site locally... Try uploading to a server and see if that works...

Good luck!
