Using video comments in the forum module

I've tried using the forum content type to work with the video comment module but it doesn't work very well for me. It will usually upload the video but clicking on Finish or closing the KCW will cause it to go black and not return the user to the newly created forum topic. I can change the forums to use the story content type and the video comments work, but I have some other non-kaltura problems with that. Is there something I can do to get kaltura to work with forum topics?
