Hi,

Can you please be more specific - what formats are we talking about, what is your internet speed? Maybe you can also send a link so i can take a look.

Hi,

@IdoSet: first of all thanks for the last reply.

My video is uploaded as AVI format. My internet conecction is about 14 MB to download and 1Mb to upload. Here are two example videos that I upload: http://tinyurl.com/8jrhq7 and http://tinyurl.com/7r2nuf. I put it as tiny URLs to avoid the navigation bot searchs indexation.

Hi,

It does look blurry... I think that the problem is that those are screencasts; can you please give it a try with another format (just upload a video, or export it from youtube) and see how that goes?

The avi video quality on my local is ok but on the web not. Which another format can I try? I use recordmydesktop to make the scrrencast and this program create a ogv format video. Can I use this format on kaltura?

Thanks. Regards. aitiba

no - it's not supported... just try to import a video from youtube - let's see if the problem is general or simply with the screencast files.

I download this youtube video http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=8DxKG2EW1 ... re=related as flv and upload to kaltura. The result is here: http://tinyurl.com/7bqu8m. ¿is this what you say me to do?

I upload one of the videos to youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vubFtSkHlg, The video is blurry but less than on my web because the dimensions of the player are highest on my site.

Thanks. Regards. aitiba

We've followed the optimal settings guidelines for uploading videos to Kaltura: http://www.kaltura.org/ingestions-options-and-optimal-settings-video-qua..., but we're seeing very poor video quality for the first 10-15 seconds of all of our videos. Is there a way to correct this? Here's an example video:

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

Hi,

I just took a look and it seemed to be OK - the video does take a few seconds to load, but after that the quality looks fine. Do you have other examples I can watch?
