webcam comments record but do not show up as comments

I've setup my wowza server to record the webcam comments and indeed they do record. If you visit a post, click 'add video comment', record a comment and save it, it is indeed saved, and does show up in my kaltura kmc content panel.

However, the comment itself never shows up in the theme. I am using WordPress 3.4 with the default twentyeleven theme.

When you do click submit video comment, the page is refreshed returning to url mysite.com/?s=&submit=Search

That is definitely not correct.

Has something changed with WordPress itself, thus making the kaltura comment plugin break?
*just reading through the plugin code it is apparent that there are a lot of code snippets that do not follow WP standards so it's hard to tell.
