I've read about the image being available - but I can't find the download link.
Where can I find it?
Thanks

All,

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this. We had to temporarily remove the CE 4.0 VMware image download link, as we found some issues with image configuration. We are currently working on updating the image and it will become available again for downland in the coming days.

Thanks

Thanks for the post Chen,

I've noticed that a few hours after your post, the VMware image is available for download. Is this version stable?

I'm running it on a localhost install and it's working so far. Testing it with WP All-In-One-Video Plugin as we speak.

Are you opening CentOS-5.6-with-new-apc-CE-final.vmx from the rar file?

Also do you have any output in the logs (vmware.log)? If so post an attachment with that.

I'd love it if there was a VMWare image available for mobile development. Please let us know if you do get around to releasing an image!
