The problem occurs when the overlay is on the first entry ("clip") in the video mix and Flash "doesn't get a chance" to load the font files before it starts rendering the movie. When you move the scrubber back to the beginning of the timeline you do see the font correctly because by then Flash has already loaded the font files. You also do see fonts correctly if the text overlay is placed later on in the movie (not over the first entry or clip).
I have the same problem it took me a couple of months to configure it. I found solution from one forums but I think the thread was already deleted. cursos de ingles en el extranjero
THE SOLUTION:
Add another clip (entry) at the very beginning of the video mix and put a text overlay on it and set the font you want to appear in the beginning of the movie.
- This clip can be very short - 0.5 second worked for us consistently.
- The text overlay can be empty - you don't actually have to type in any text (just set up an overlay and its font type).
One option is to have this first "preloader" clip be black which normally works for any movie. Another option would be to cut 0.5 seconds off the beginning of your movie and make it into a separate clip (entry).
